Werker Stable Transport Museum

The Dresden Museum of Transport contains steam locomotives, cars and trams of the early 20th century, retro cars, horse-drawn trams, and the oldest German steam locomotive "Muldenthal".

The Dresden Transport Museum (Verkehrsmuseum Dresden) was opened in 1956 in the building of the former historical museum, which used to have the stables of the Saxon Elector Christian I. The basis of the exhibition was the exhibits of the Saxon Museum of Railway Transport.
